Localisation test - small angles

This test estimates how well you can tell where sounds are coming from. This is done by determining the angle at which you are able to tell if a sound source is located to your left or to your right. This test may be of interest to you if you have ever experienced problems locating a sound source, just from the sound alone.

When doing this test, two bursts of noise will follow in quick succession. This will create an illusion that the sound source moves from the left to the right, or from the right to the left. It is your task to tell in which direction the sound was going. You can do this by clicking on one of the buttons as shown below.
