Localisation test with head phones

This HearCom Localisation Test estimates listeners’ ability to locate, by hearing, a ringing telephone. The test offers an interactive surrounding, in this case a living room. With the help of a slider the living room can be rotated around the listener, which models rotating the listener head in the room. This feature is a major help in locating the ringing telephone. As the test makes use of head phones, it needs to be performed without hearing aids. For a more precise evaluation of localisation skills, a localisation test of the Auditory Profile will need to be performed.

This test will be made available via the Internet in several European countries.
