Classical T/C level fitting for adults : Visual reinforcement audiometry

In Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) the stimulus is followed by a visually attractive cue (a moving toy, a picture on a screen,..). The idea is to use classical conditioning techniques to train the child to look in a certain direction when he/she hears the stimulus. This method can be successfully used to determine thresholds in children between 9 months- 2 years. The method is less suited for setting C-levels.
